Our staff has prepared nominations of buildings and properties to the National Register of Historic Places and the Register of Historic Kansas Places. We are well-versed in the nomination process including drafts, photo logs, coordination with the State Historic Preservation Office and presenting to the Historic Sites Review Board.
Projects meeting preservation standards to buildings listed on the National and/or State Register are eligible to receive federal and/or state historic tax credits. Our team has provided architectural drawings on projects to meet the outlined preservation standards so building owners can receive these tax credits. We have also completed the applications required to be granted tax credits. We are confident in our ability to guide owners through the design and application process, making construction decisions that do not threaten tax credit eligibility.
