Ben Moore Studio, LLC, has one position available for a Historic Preservation Position (2+ years experience) in Manhattan, KS. Our studio work culture is one of collaboration, mentorship, flexibility and having fun while providing exemplary design and client service. Our work environment is an open studio to encourage teamwork and learning. Our work includes downtown commercial, historic preservation, residential, animal care and small commercial projects. Requirements for Historic Preservation Candidate:

• Professional degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.
• Desire to work on historic preservation and adaptive reuse projects.
• Understanding of the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Treatment of Historic Properties.
• Ability to travel for field work and existing building documentation.
• Ability to use a pencil and a Macintosh
• Strong design/creative problem solving skills
• Collaborative team player with desire to be a Leader
• Highly motivated with a strong desire to learn
• Excellent communication skills - verbally, written, graphically
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite and the desire to learn Vectorworks & Bluebeam.
• Continuing Education Provided (Conferences, Seminars etc)
• Flexible work location negotiable - for this position only
• Compensation based on experience including retirement, healthcare, PTO and bonuses provided.
